Using G to Read and Write in Excel Format
G7 is cabable of reading and modfiying files that are in the Microsoft Excel format. Data can be read from Excel files and written to the G7 workspace data bank or to a VAM file. Data can also be written from G7 databanks into existing Excel files.
To utilize the demo scripts below, download and unzip the files, open G, browse to and select the appropriate G.CFG file, then read and run the .ADD file found in directory.
XLRead.zip - This demo illustrates G7's ability to read time series, vectors, and matrices from Excel spreadsheets.
XLWrite.zip - This file demonstrates how to write data from G7 databanks to Excel spreadsheets.
